We provide you with a comprehensive range of focused services to enable you to get optimal health from your medications. Our dispensing services are always supervised by a fully registered pharmacist.

We provide a complete prescription dispensing service. This includes:

  • Dispensing prescription medicines. Just bring in your written prescription provided by your doctor, dentist, midwife or other prescribers. 
  • Giving you professional advice about the medicines you have been prescribed. Just ask if you would like to discuss your medicines with our pharmacists.
  • Giving you a comprehensive Medicines Check, on request.
  • Dispensing pharmacist-prescribed (pharmacy only) medications.

Refill Service

To support patients managing long-term conditions, Medimart Pharmacy offers a structured prescription refill service. Customers can pre-register their regular medications, and our team ensures timely preparation and reminders for collection or delivery. Glucose Test

As part of our commitment to preventive healthcare, Medimart provides in-store blood glucose testing. This service enables customers to monitor their blood sugar levels quickly and accurately, which is essential for the early detection and management of diabetes. Our pharmacists are available to explain test results and offer guidance on appropriate lifestyle changes or further medical consultation.

Blood Pressure Test

If you are worried about your blood pressure, you may want to consider booking an appointment to visit one of our branches.

The test involves a blood pressure measurement, blood glucose test and life style and family history assessment to provide a cardiovascular risk assessment and offer a professional support.

Our pharmacist will measure your blood glucose level by doing a finger prick blood test. The results will be available while you wait and will be explained to you as part of the check.

If your blood pressure is high, our pharmacist will give you a comprehensive personalised health advice on how to lower risk and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Malaria Test

Given the high prevalence of malaria in Ghana, Medimart provides rapid diagnostic testing for malaria at selected branches. The service is affordable, fast, and accurate, enabling customers to identify the condition early and access appropriate treatment promptly. Our pharmacists also provide guidance on prevention methods, such as mosquito nets and repellents, to help reduce future risk.
